The Johnathan Andrews School of Photography was established in 2008 when, by invitation from a department at the University of South Africa, Johnathan
Andrews was asked to structure a Beginners Digital SLR Photography course to offer it as in-house training for lecturers.
Based upon the success of the initial course we have since developed popular training options for beginners in digital photography. Both full time and part time training courses are available. Whether you want to pursue a career as a freelance photographer or simply passionate about developing your photography skills, our courses are aimed at providing the ultimate digital learning experience.
The courses are designed to equip students with the theory, practical information, tips and techniques that are required in entrance to the digital photography spectrum. The progression from thereon in is formulated in facilitation. The provision of a platform where students have the opportunity to take creative control of their photographic potential is a key objective in the course curriculum at the Johnathan Andrews School of Photography.
